In a joint BLET/UTU effort, was a charter member of the San Bernardino Service Region Crew Planning Team 1998-1999. Under direction of the General Chairmen (plural), the premise was a Craft- driven Fatigue Countermeasure project intended to provide more efficient crew planning practices resulting in better lineup projection and reduced away-from-home-terminal time. Planned crews at Barstow from LA/Needles/Bakersfield. Project was very successful. The position went exempt in 1999, I returned to craft.
